Thanks for making ‘Taste’ a success …

Dear Editor:
As I sat down to write thank you notes to all of the volunteers and staff who made this year’s Taste of Clarendon a success, I realized that there were so many that I could not afford the postage for them all.

On behalf of the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce and myself I want to thank all of you who contributed your time, your food and your energy to this year’s Taste.

I dare not try and list them all for fear that I may leave someone out, but you know who you are.

This was my first year as Chairperson of the Taste Committee and I really had no idea how many people and how much good will it takes to put on an event like that.

I truly believe that this type of event wouldn’t work in many places, but here, in Clarendon County, it is a success because of the wonderful people who give of their time and their energy to make it happen.

Thanks again and we will see you next year at the Taste!
