A wonderful community …

Dear Editor:
Your editorial this week (“On the magic of a small town’s power”) was right on the money! Our community has been wonderful to our family as we are facing cancer.

Some call each week, some send cards and prayers, and some help out with babysitting and food.

We are so glad that we moved here and have Manning and Clarendon County to help us through this difficult time. I know that one day I will be able to repay them, but I know they will fight me on it.
