Ministerial Alliance shows support …

Dear Editor:
On Saturday, March 21, 2007, the Clarendon County Ministerial Alliance, under the leadership of their president, Rev. Henry McCray, sponsored a cookout for residents of the Clarendon Residential Care Center. Also participating were Ministerial Alliance board members Elder Hattie Weathers, Pastors Willie and Gloria Mobley, Elder Sampson Pearson, Rev. Jack Morant, Rev. Sam Miller, Chaplains Heyward and Joyce Clark, Rev. George Windley, Charles Ladson and Bob McCabe.

Rev. Henry has told me that the Ministerial Alliance was organized to bring together churches, pastors, clergy and people of Clarendon County so that we might be able to promote unity and fellowship on issues pertaining to the spiritual, moral, social, economic and political welfare of all people, regardless of race or creed.

I have been employed with the Clarendon Residential Care Center since 2004 and have had the opportunity to meet and work with different churches, individuals, organizations and volunteer groups. All are appreciated and welcome. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to them all.

Sincerely,
Annette Coard
Activity Director
