Louise Kay PruettLouise Kay Pruett

Louise Kay Pruett, 62, wife of Jimmie L. Pruett, died Friday, December 7, 2007, in Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.

Born November 10, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., she was a daughter of the late Harold Edward and Bernice Barden Hooker. She attended Summerton United Methodist Church, and was a member of Otterbein Methodist Church in Hagerstown, Md. She was a retired clinical representative.

Surviving are her husband of Summerton; a daughter, Robin Ridenour of Hagerstown, Md.; two sons, David Sprecher of Hagerstown, Md. and James Sprecher of Boonsboro, Md.; a stepson, David Pruett of Florida; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Myers of Michigan; a twin brother, Harold Hooker of Hagerstown, Md.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, in Minnich Funeral Home in Hagerstown, Md.

Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of local arrangements.
