Lucille R. Fisher

NEW YORK – Lucille Robinson Roberts Fisher, 91, died Dec. 7, 2007, in New York.

Born May 15, 1916, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Jasper Robinson and the late Lutisher Hilton Robinson.

At an early age, she joined Antioch Baptist Church. Her education was obtained in the public schools of Clarendon County. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to New York to pursue better job opportunities.

Survivors include two sisters, Cleo Bost and Margaret House, both of Manning; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Leroy.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Jordan community, with the Rev. Sam Livingston officiating, assisted by the Revs. O’Donald Dingle and Arkus Frierson and Evangelist Shirley Waiters.

Burial was in Antioch Memorial Gardens.

Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home of Manning was in charge of arrangements.
