David R. Tisdale
CONWAY – David R. Tisda1e, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006 at his residence after an illness.
Mr. Tisdale, husband of the late Frances Hatcher Tisdale, was born in Kingstree, a son of the late R. W. and Dale Strong Tisdale. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Salters.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia (Grayling) Powell of Johnsonville; Cathy T. (Ken) McNeill of Conway and Teresa T. (Bob) Farley of Florence; three sons, Don (Crystal) Tisdale and Darrell (Tina) Tisdale both of Hemingway, and Shannon Tisdale of Manning; 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Jane Groves and Ruth Hahn, both of Charleston; and a daughter in law, Tara Tisdale.
He was preceded in death by a son, Davis “David” Tisdale.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006 in Garden of Devotion Cemetery.
Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway was in charge of the arrangements.
