Isabel F. Scott

Isabel Maria Fernandez Scott, 68, beloved wife of 48 years to Ernest Matthew Scott, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Saville, Spain, a daughter of the late José Sanchez and Ramona Fernandez Sanchez. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Robert M. (Yvonne) Scott and Michael J.(Judi) Scott, all of Sumter; three daughters, Maria (Jed) Anderson of Turbeville, Susie (Kevin) Cowart of Tampa, Fla., and Debbie (Rick) Wolfe of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Robert Payne Scott and William Harry Scott of Michigan; and eight grandchildren, Warren Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Billy Wolfe, Matthew Cowart, Cassie Wolfe, Lauren Scott, Jessica Scott and Trey Michael Scott.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at the Bullock Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James “Pablo” Burke, C.Ss.R., officiating.

Burial followed in Evergreen Memorial Park.
