Winona Burton Bradham

Winona Burton Bradham, 84, widow of Charles Easley Bradham, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, in Kershaw County Medical Center in Camden.

Born Oct. 11, 1923, in Greenville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Willis Lafayette and Bessie Hollingsworth Burton. She was a retired registered nurse, and a member of Manning First Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Elaine Thornton of Collierville, Tenn., Kitty Ashley of Elgin and Gayle Hall of Manning; a sister, Christine Gregory of Danville, Va.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Thornton; a brother, Willis L. Burton, Jr.; and a sister, Iris Adams.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, with the Rev. Larry Kennedy officiating.

Burial followed in Manning Cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of arrangements.
