Veronica M. Fludd

BALTIMORE, Md. – Veronica Maria Fludd, 26, died Oct. 26, 2007, in Baltimore.

Born Nov. 2, 1980, in Manning, she was a daughter of Frances L. Fludd and the late Willie Morris Gibson. She was a graduate of Scott’s Branch High School and furthered her education at Central Carolina Technical College and Coppin State University, Baltimore, where she was majoring in early childhood education. She was employed with Future Care of Maryland.

Survivors include a brother, Dwayne Fludd of Summerton; three sisters, Mae F. (Roney) Maddox, Sabrina Fludd and Teresa A. (Jason) Lawson, all of Summerton; and her grandmother, Ella Carter of Summerton.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Liberty Hill AME Church with the Rev. Melvin Capers, presiding, the Rev. Dr. James B. Stukes, eulogist, and Elder Joseph Postell and Minister Eartha Carter officiating.

Burial was in the Friendship AME Church cemetery.

Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
