Lola Marie A. Geddings

Lola Marie Anderson Geddings, 51, wife of Roland Wayne Geddings, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at her home in Summerton.

Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Laurence Anderson and the late Lois Powers Anderson. Mrs. Geddings attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was retired from Wal-Mart in Manning with 17 years of service.

Surviving are her husband of Summerton; three brothers, Victor Laurence Anderson of Greenville, John Edward Anderson of Charleston and George Francis Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Loretta Lois Siefker of Horatio, Kathleen Patricia Lambert of Summerville, and her twin, Laura Marie Davis of Dalzell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Bishop Raymond Jennings officiating.

Burial was in the Sumter Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Anderson, BeBe Finkley, Johnny Davis Jr., Neil Lambert, Lance Siefker and Larry Geddings.

Memorials may be made to the Hollings Cancer Center, Medical University of South Carolina, 86 Jonathan Lucas St., Charleston, S.C. 29425.

Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory of Sumter was in charge of arrangements.
