If it’s October -- and it is -- then it must be time for “Boo Mania!”

Clarendon Hall is now in its 18th year of holding this family-oriented fall festival that guarantees to have something for everyone!

As is traditional, Boo Mania will be held on the last two Saturdays of October; this year Oct. 20 and 27. All the fun starts at 6 p.m. on the Clarendon Hall school grounds and lasts until the last wagon returns from “The Forest of Horrors” … if it ever does!

Ticket prices are $3 adults and $1 children making this an affordable family outing.

From games and great food to live entertainment and a country store, kids of all ages will have a great time. Promotions for this year’s Boo Mania are promising great eats including shrimp and grits, BBQ, red chicken stew, hamburgers, hot dogs, lots of homemade sweets and treats and much more.

Entertainment will be provided on Oct. 20 by the band, “Hog-Wild” and on Oct. 27 by “ShagTime.” Dancing shoes will be a must and even if you aren’t into climbing a rock wall or facing

your fears in the Forest of Horrors, you can have a swinging good time.

Boo Mania is one of Clarendon Hall’s major fund raisers for the year, so come on out and support this Summerton institution.

You’re sure to have a “boo-teeful” evening!
