Louise R. Turner
Eva Louise Rhodus Turner, 63, wife of James “Rooster” Turner, died Saturday, September 15, 2007, at her home, 3608 Susan Street, Sumter.
Born January 21, 1944, in Bloomville, she was a daughter of the late James Wesley and Pearl Ardis Rhodus. She was first married to Frank James “Rabbit” Bochette, Jr. Mrs. Turner was a retired inspector from Cooper Tools in Sumter, and was a member of New Start Community Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving besides her husband of Sumter are a son, Russell “Rusty” Bochette and his wife Diane of Sumter; two sisters, Doris Rodgers of Sumter, and Alice Mahoney of Manning; a brother, Sonny Rhodus of Manning; three grandchildren, Natalee Bochette, Brandon Sinner and his wife Bobby, and Taylor Foster.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Rhodus and Elbert Rhodus.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Manning. Pallbearers were Danny, Ricky and Terry McLeod, Vernice Mead, Frankie Rodgers and Junior Glission. Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Sinner and Taylor Foster.

Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, Manning, was in charge of the arrangements.
