Quentin L. Coker
Quentin Lesley Coker, age 31, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at a Florence hospital.
Born in Manning, he was a son of Ronald Leslie Coker and Martha Elizabeth “Beth” McElveen Coker. He was a welder at Vulcraft for the past twelve years. He was a member of the Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church where he served as president of the Youth Committee, Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School Teacher. He was also a member of the church’s GROW Outreach Ministries, and Praise Team.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wiley Arthur and Ila Mae McElveen; his paternal grandfather, Allen Randolph Coker; and his mother-in-law, Vina Godwin.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his wife, Lori Ann Godwin Coker; a daughter, Gracelyn Danielle Coker; a son, Garrett Quentin Coker; two brothers, Weston Neil (Ashley) Coker and Timothy Wade (Robin) Coker; paternal grandmother, Agnes Virginia Coker; father-in-law, Danny Godwin all of Turbeville.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta was in charge of the arrangements.
