Dorothy Jean Bingham Mouzon

Dorothy Jean “Dottie” Bingham Mouzon, 60, wife of Raymond A. Mouzon, died Friday, June 26, 2009, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born Jan. 24, 1949, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late James Marsden and Ebbie Fain Bingham. She was a realtor with Hawkins & Kolb in Sumter, a member of the Million Dollar Club, former member of Sumter Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of Greeleyville Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her husband of Greeleyville are two sons, Raymond (Connie) Mouzon Jr. of Alcolu, and Reid Mouzon of Sumter; three brothers, Jimmy Bingham, Sammy Bingham and Steve Bingham; a sister, Gloria Coker; and two grandchildren, Connor Mouzon and Jon Mouzon.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 28, 2009, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, with the Rev. Grover Mixon.

Burial followed in Foreston Cemetery in the Foreston community of Manning.

Memorials may be made to Greeleyville Baptist Church, P. O. Box 276, Greeleyville, S.C. 29056.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
