Roger G. Wollmuth

Roger George Wollmuth, 66, husband of Alice Edna Mae Morris Childers Wollmuth, died Friday, June 15, 2007, at his home.

Born Nov. 8, 1940, in Sioux Falls, Iowa, he was a son of the late Theodore and Dora Haines Wollmuth. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Pocalla Holiness Church.

Surviving besides his wife of Sumter are three daughters, Karen Morgan of Sumter, Marilyn Wollmuth of Lucedale, Miss., and Alice Childers of Columbia; two sons, Dannie Morris and Allen Childers of Sumter; two brothers, Paul Wollmuth of Sheldon, Iowa and Richard Wollmuth of Sioux Falls, Iowa; a sister, Jean Giesoff of Rock Rapid, Iowa; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Pocalla Holiness Church with the Rev. Timothy Hudson officiating.

Burial with full military honors followed in Evergreen Memorial Park.
