Christian J. Washington

DECATUR, Ga. – Christian Jaden Washington died Monday, June 11, 2007, at Dekalb Medical Center, Decatur.

Born in Lithonia, Ga., on Jan. 24, 2007, he was a son of Eliza Washington and Eric Laramore.

Survivors besides his parents are three sisters, Dernisha Alford of Americus, Ga., Dericha Laramore of Commerce, Ga., and Shaquitta Laramore of Lithonia; maternal grandparents, Linzy and Karen Washington and Amanda and Samuel Oliver Washington-Alston, all of Summerton; two maternal great-grandmothers, Sarah Billie Washington and Lue Ida Ragin Oliver, both of Summerton; paternal grandfather, Willie Williams of Desoto, Ga.; four aunts; five uncles; and his godmother, Linda Smith of Sneville, Ga.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at historic Liberty Hill AME Church cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Melvin Capers, pastor, officiating.

Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
