Marvin L. Dailey
Marvin Leroy Dailey, 71, husband of Florence Kelly Dailey, died Friday, June 8, 2007, at Regency Hospital in Florence.
Born March 6, 1936, in Owen County, Ind., he was a son of the late James and Gladys Sinders Dailey. He was a retired independent truck driver, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are his wife, F. Kelly Dailey of Summerton; a daughter, Anita Root of Mooresville, Ind.; two sons, Bradley Dailey of Tigerville and Marcus Dailey of Summerton; a stepdaughter, Sharon Kent of Trenton, N.J.; two stepsons, James Kelly of Bordentown, N.J., and Timothy Kelly of Parrish, Fla.; a brother, James H. Dailey of Greenville; a sister, Arlene Bolinger of Martinsville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were private.
Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of arrangements.
