Pauline L. Jones Beal
Pauline L. Jones Beal, 75, wife of James E. Beal, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at her home.
Born in Jones, La., she was a daughter of the late Solon Jones and the late Ellen Gollree Jones. She was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God and was the founder of the Sumter County Flea Market.
Survivors besides her husband of 52 years include three sons, James M. (Terri) Beal of San Mateo, Calif., David R. (Gena) Beal of Hendersonville, N.C., and Steven (Doris) Beal of York; three daughters, Linda (Bobby) Davis of Manning, Gay (Richard) Bessette of Llano, Calif., and Cathy L. Evans of Sumter; two sisters, Loraine (Ernest) Harris of Seminole, Texas, and Patsy (Fritz) Bargan of New Haven, Mo.; three brothers, Brisco Jones of Arkansas, Ralph (Georgie) Jones of Omaha, Neb., and Tom Jones of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Green Acres Assembly of God with the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
