Frank L. Ridgill

Frank L. Ridgill, 70, husband of Mary Bradley Ridgill, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born in Paxville, he was a son of the late Benjamin Ridgill and the late Nellie Kolb Ridgill. Mr. Ridgill was a retired building contractor and employed by Simpson Hardware. He was a Baptist.

Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Ray (Barbara) Ridgill, and Jimmy Ridgill; two daughters, Diane (Paul) Davis and Lynn (Jimbo) Russell, all of Sumter; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Jewel McGority of Sumter; and a number of nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ted Ridgill, Ed Ridgill and Richard Ridgill; and two sisters, Lizzie Ardis and Ruth Griffith.

Graveside services were held on Sunday, April 29, 2007, in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter was in charge of the arrangements.
