Clarence J. McIntosh
Clarence Jackie McIntosh, 59, husband of Jean Follin McIntosh, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Arkansas, he was a son of the late Clarence McIntosh and Evelyn Brown McIntosh. “Big Jack” was a member of the Buckshot Hunting Club and enjoyed gathering with his buddies for coffee and fellowship at McDonald’s. He was a retired self-employed contractor.
Surviving are his wife of Sumter; one son, Clarence Jackie (Joni) McIntosh of Sumter; two daughters, Jacquelyn Maria (Jay) Rowland of Sumter, and Tracy Lynn (Robby) Cloninger of Tennessee; two brothers, Billy Joe McIntosh and Michael Ray McIntosh, both of Sumter; two sisters, Linda McElveen of Sumter and Brenda Morris of Gable; six grandchildren, JP Rowland, Wyatt Duke Rowland, JonJon McIntosh, Colleen McIntosh, Kyle Cloninger and Hudson Reece Cloninger.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Father Thomas Burke, C.S.s.R., and the Rev. Brian Magaw officiating.
Burial followed in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ralph Turner, Jimmy Jordan, Stan Card, Lathan Earles, Derrick Pack, Billy McIntosh Jr., Seth McIntosh and Haston Terry.
Honorary pallbearer was Roland “Mac” McElveen Jr.

Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.
