Nathaniel Johnson

Nathaniel Johnson, 69, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.

Born July 8, 1938, in Clarendon County, he was a son of LouBertha Moorer Johnson and the late Pinckney Johnson. His education was obtained in the public schools of Clarendon County. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson was also a construction worker for many years.

Survivors include his mother, LouBertha Moorer Johnson; six brothers, John Johnson of Lois, Pinckney Johnson and Leon Johnson, both of Baltimore, Wilson Johnson of Statesboro, Ga., Kenneth Johnson of Hempstead, N.Y., and Earl Johnson of Manning; and two sisters, Roberta Johnson Sabb and Constance Brooks, both of Manning.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Ashley B. Vaughn officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home of Manning was in charge of services.
