Alma Grace F. Landry

Alma Grace Fox Landry, 65, wife of Edward A. Landry Sr., died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born in Syracuse, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Bert Fox and the late Ernestine Peckham Fox. Mrs. Landry was a bus driver for the East Syracuse school system for 15 years.

Survivors include her husband of Manning; four children, Kelly Bitonio of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Christine Patneaude of Bradenton, Fla., Kathy Rose of York and Edward A. Landry Jr. of Kirkville, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Lekel and Jack; and brothers and sisters, Beverly Theford, George Fox, Yvonne Crossman and William Fox.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel in Sumter, with the Rev. Billy Lewis officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter was in charge of the arrangements.
