Dayle T. Goodman

Dayle T. Goodman, 57, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born June 17, 1958, in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Eva Bell Goodman. He received his formal education at Walker Gamble High School. In his youth, he joined Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors are two sisters, Gaile Goodman of Turbeville and Lottie Quattlebaum of Sumter; a brother, Freddie (Alberta) Goodman of Lake City; and two aunts, Mary English and Mable (Ben) English, both of Lynchburg.

A brother, Elister Lee Sr., preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Asbury United Methodist Church, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Samuel Cooper, pastor, officiating.

Burial followed in the Goodman Cemetery, Lynchburg.

Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
