Joyce B. Piucci

COLUMBIA – Joyce Sandra Benenhaley Piucci, 60, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Benenhaley and the late Rosalie Ray Benenhaley. Mrs. Piucci was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was a retired civil service employee.

Surviving are a son, Richard J. Piucci Jr. of Columbia; a daughter, Anna Maria Piucci Ray of Dalzell; three brothers, Raymond Benenhaley Jr. of Dalzell, Gene Benenhaley of Paxville and Benny Benenhaley of Dalzell; a sister, Brenda Jones of Dalzell; a granddaughter, Hanna Cardone Piucci; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, April 3, 2008, in the chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Walt Phillips and the Rev. George Smith officiating.
