The Clarendon Scene ... as seen in Clarendon

Ted Johnson and Manning Town Administrator Rebecca Rhodes admire the exhibits at the “Clarendon Collects” exhibit. A project of the Clarendon County Historical Society, the exhibit, located at 4 S. Brooks Street, presents a number of artifacts from Clarendon County’s rich history.  B.B. and Jay De Laine came from Charlotte to be part of the “Clarendon Collects” opening. The current exhibit contains artifacts from the landmark school desegregation case, Briggs v. Elliott, of which the De Laine’s father was a part.
