David E. Harrington

David Eugene Harrington, 46, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at his home.

Born Feb. 17, 1961, in Manning, he was the son of W.D. and Maudie Gene Richburg Harrington. He was a farmer and body shop owner and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his parents of Manning are a daughter, Ashley Gene Harrington of Columbia; a sister, Evelyn H. Mathis of Sumter; a brother, Billy Dow Harrington of Manning; a nephew, William Mathis; and a niece, Amanda Mathis.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 1, 2007, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning with the Revs. Jerry Cottone and Charlie Tyler officiating.

Burial followed in Brewington Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Todd Barwick, Bobby Fleming, Mitch Richburg, Brock Richburg, Allan Richburg, David Hill, Mike Dinkins and Walter Riggs.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning, was in charge of the arrangements.
