Vermille M. Brinson

Vermille Morris Brinson, 88, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at a local nursing center.

Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Willie Morris and the late Margaret McKnight Morris. She was retired from Drapery Contractors.

Survivors include three children, Kirby Brinson Sr., John W. “Billy” (Lorine) Brinson, and Betty B. Bramlette, all of Sumter; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Barwick.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Marxh 28, 2007, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Holley officiating.

Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter was in charge of arrangements.
