Angelo E. Sharp
Angelo Ezekiel Sharp, 77, husband of Elmar Cain Sharp, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, Manning.
Born May 17, 1930, in Clarendon County, he was the son of the late Earle and Maggie Mouzon Sharp. He received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County. He was employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation and retired after 30 years of service. He worshipped Jehovah at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elmar Cain Sharp of the home; three sons, Kenneth E. Sharp of the home, Timothy E. Sharp of Sumter and Woodrow L. (Edith) Sharp of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Geneva S. (Arthur) Brown of Round O and Odessa C. Sharp of the home; three sisters, Inez Sharp, Meredith S. (Melvin) Benbow and Wilma S. (Preston) Stukes, all of Manning; one brother, Herbert L. (Joann) Sharp of Manning; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 28, 2008, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Manning, with Brother Charles White delivering the discourse.
Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
