Charles Gee
LYNCHBURG – Charles Gee died on Monday, March 24, 2008, after an illness.
He was born Feb. 15, 1956, to the late Stella and Elbert Gee of Sumter County. Later he moved to Paterson, N.J., where he attended Paterson public schools. He later returned to South Carolina, where he lived until his death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Demetra Moses of Jackson, N.C., and Ta’re Moses of Woodland, N.C.; three grandchildren, Barkim Moses, Octavia Davis and Tiena Day of North Carolina; two brothers, Freddie (Genet) Fulwood of Baltimore, Md., and Nathan Gee of Richmond, Va.; six sisters, Lue Faye (Jenkins) Suber-Gee-Edwards of Olanta, Annie R. Gee of Lodi, N.J., Joretha Gee of Paterson, Yvonne (Henry) Gee-Kennedy of Raspeburg, Md., Mary (Eusaw) Cousar of Richmond and Carter Jean (Junior) Prince of New Zion; a special nephew of the home, Zamier Gee; special friends, the Morant family; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 9, 2008, at Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Olanta, with the Rev. Jimmy McGill officiating.
Burial was in the St. John United Methodist Church cemetery.
Jefferson Funeral Home of Lynchburg was in charge of the arrangements.
