Robert Lee Brunson Sr.

Robert Lee Brunson Sr., 39, died on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Tuomey Health Care System.

He was born May 2, 1968, in Sumter County, a son of Norwood Brunson and the late Dorothy Wilson Brunson.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Rhames Brunson; one daughter, Shatonya Brunson; two sons, Robert Lee Brunson Jr., and Dominique Shaquille Brunson, all of Sumter; a loving stepmother, Ellen Brunson of Maryland; four sisters, Sylvia (George) Maddox of Montgomery, Ala., Rosa (Kenneth) Pack of Gable, Dylena (Frederick) Wells of Mayesville, Gloria (Elijah) Jackson of Sumter; two brothers, James (Clarissa ) Brunson and Jasmin Brunson, both of Sumter; two grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Norwood Brunson Jr.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 27, 2008, from The House of God Holiness Church in Sumter with Elder Elijah Green, presiding; the Rev. Douglas Fisher, eulogist.

Flower bearers were nieces.

Pallbearers were nephews.

Burial was in the Mayesville Cemetery.

Williams Funeral Home Inc. of Sumter was in charge of the arrangements.
