Ann Athelia Quirk Carrigg

Ann Athelia Quirk Carrigg, 66, wife of Theodore M. Carrigg, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at her home in Summerton.

Born April 3, 1941, in Watkins Glen, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Frank Patrick and Elizabeth Wellman Quirk. She was a retired logistics analyst for BAE Systems, one of the largest defense contractors. She was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church, and a member of the S.C. Square and Round Dance Association.

Surviving are her husband of Summerton; five sons, Skipper R. Huffman of Summerville, Scott P. Huffman of Moncks Corner, Tommy Q. Huffman of Summerton, Ted R. “Randy” Carrigg of Orangeburg and Kenny Carrigg of Cope; a brother, James Quirk of Claremont, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Grace Christian Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Mike Murdoch officiating.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
