Francis J. Santangelo
Francis J. “Frank” Santangelo, 83, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born May 24, 1923, in New Brunswick, N.J., he was a son of the late John and Amelia Corrente Santangelo. He was a retired engineer from Johnson & Johnson, a former councilman for Middlesex, N.J., a member of the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Carolina Commission for Higher Education. Mr. Santangelo was a member of The Presbyterian Church in Manning.
Surviving are a son, Michael John Santangelo of Manning; a daughter, Sharon Anne (John) Liszczak of Manville, N.J.; a brother, Alfred Santangelo of Somerset, N.J.; three sisters, Jane Juzwiak of Somerset, N.J., Sylvia Shull of East Windsor, N.J., and Adeline Gimarro of Michigan; and three grandchildren, Melanie, Gregory and Glen Liszczak, all of New Jersey.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 15, 2007, in The Presbyterian Church at Manning with the Rev. Dr. William J. Holmes officiating.
Burial followed in Manning Cemetery.
Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning, was in charge of arrangements.
