Theddis M. DeFee

Theddis “Ted” Marion DeFee, 71, of Hanahan, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his home.

Mr. DeFee was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Florence. He was a retiree from the State Ports Authority. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He was the widower of Jasimine Baker DeFee.

Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Vivian Rohling of Florence, Mary Dyson of Manning and S.E. DeFee of Manning; children, Brenda Pennell (Mike) of Moncks Corner, Ted DeFee (Wanda) of Mount Pleasant, Peggy DeFee of Hanahan, Michael DeFee of Hanahan, Dee Parker (Marty) of Burleston, Texas, and Terry DeFee of Huger; grandchildren, Sonia Gunn, Jennifer Hester, Angela Musil, Brian Pennell, Kristy Ellisor, Amy DeFee and Jonathan Parker; great-grandchildren, Holden Musil, Brianna Pennell, Hayden Musil, Hunter Musil, Capers Hester, Faith Gunn and Ella Hester.

Graveside services were held on Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Carolina Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
