Wendell Bruce Hardy

Mr. Wendell Bruce Hardy, age 64, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of Mary Elizabeth Huggins Hardy and the late Coker Hardy. He was employed in hydraulic sales as an office manager and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Hardy of Turbeville; two sons, Wendell “Wade” Hardy of Lake Mary, Fla. and Brooks Hardy of Deltona, Fla.; three step daughters, Kim Barrineau of Lake City, Robin Walsh of North Charleston and Melissa Floyd of Turbeville; one step-son, Clay Coker of Turbeville; four sisters, Gloria Timmons and Pam Streett both of Murrells Inlet, Cathy Wilson of Florence and Joni Whitehead of Pawleys Island; one brother, Randy Hardy of Charleston; and ten grandchildren.

A memorial services was held on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta.

Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta was in charge of the arrangements.
