Two members of the National Symphony Orchestra were the guests of Manning Junior High School on Wednesday, Feb. 13 for a chamber music concert. Violinist Laurent Weibel and cellist Yvonne Caruthers performed several pieces by Bartok, Bach and Ravel in a demonstration of what their two instruments can do, both alone and in tandem. The program was made possible by the S.C. Arts Commission and suported by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
