Mell M. Ingram

PINEWOOD – Mell McLeod Ingram, 91, widow of John Guy Ingram Sr., died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born Oct. 29, 1915, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Seymon and Bessie Geddings McLeod. She was a member of Paxville Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. James of Darlington and Betty I. Harrelson of Pinewood; a son, John Guy (Joye) Ingram Jr. of Sumter; a brother, Joe Manning “Joby” McLeod of Sumter; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, in Paxville Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd “Pete” Ingram officiating.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of arrangements.
