The food drive, called “Add UM” (add United Ministries) sought out patrons of the Manning IGA, Piggly Wiggly and Bi-Lo to buy food for the ministry by giving out lists of UMCC’s needs. Manning’s ArvinMeritor made a generous donation of safety equipment to the Clarendon Habitat for Humanity last week. Pictured are ArvinMeritor Human Resurces Director Beverly Moberg, Habitat President Cleve Dowell, Habitat Vice-President and Buiding Chairman John Belding, ArvinMeritor Continuous Improvement Technician Ronnie Oeterson and Site Manager Chris Drose. The company donated hard hats as well as eye and ear protection.
