Paul M. Halstead

Paul Marion Halstead, 71, husband of Shirley McCullum Halstead, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at his home in Manning.

Born May 23, 1938, in Foster, W.Va., he was a son of the late Marion and Flora Godbey Halstead. He was retired from the City of Cayce and was a member of Manning Church of Christ.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Manning are a daughter, Karyn (David) Giles of Lexington; two sons, Tommy Joe (Darlene) Halstead of Gaston and Kenneth (Pamela) Halstead of Alcolu; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Manning Church of Christ with the Rev. Halbert Tucker officiating.

Memorials may be made to Manning Church of Christ, 311 E. Keitt St., Manning, S.C. 29102-3428.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
