| In honor of their grand opening, Robert Hicks, Wal-Mart store manager, along with two of his associates, presented a check for $2,500 to the Clarendon County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. Representing the Board and accepting the check was Carol Utley. |

| Wal-Mart also made a donation of $5,000 to the Animal Shelter of Clarendon County. The new Wal-Mart Super Center opened for business on Jan. 19. The Animal Shelter celebrated their grand opening on Jan. 25. |

A $5,000 donation to the Manning High School Air Force Jr. ROTC made the companies total donation to Clarendon County $17,500. ROTC programs are a special focus of Wal-Mart’s philanthropy. Accepting is Col. Gerald Cox. |
