The Clarendon Scene ... as seen in Clarendon

Manning Primary received a $2,000 grant from Francis Marion University’s Center for Excellence. The grant is going to provide teachers at MPS a copy of Enriching the Brain: How To Maximize Every Learners Potential by Eric Jenson. The grant will also allow Ray and Lord to attend an upcoming conference given by Jenson in Charlotte. Board Member Matthew Prince (right) receives an award from Superintendent of Clarendon School District 2, John Tindal at the CSD 2 board meeting. Prince was given a certificate of service and a lapel pin from the South Carolina School Board Association for his 15 years of service to the district. The former chairman of the board is a citizen dedicated to helping the educational system. Prince is an electrician with Progress Energy.
