Manning Primary received a $2,000 grant from Francis Marion University’s Center for Excellence. The grant is going to provide teachers at MPS a copy of Enriching the Brain: How To Maximize Every Learners Potential by Eric Jenson. The grant will also allow Ray and Lord to attend an upcoming conference given by Jenson in Charlotte. |

Prince was given a certificate of service and a lapel pin from the South Carolina School Board Association for his 15 years of service to the district. The former chairman of the board is a citizen dedicated to helping the educational system. Prince is an electrician with Progress Energy. |
