Ernest E. Miller

FLORENCE – Ernest E. Miller, 78, of Florence, husband of Vileta Parker Miller, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Florence County, to the late Charlie and Rosalee Tedder Miller.

He was a counter salesman for Carolina Auto Supply and later worked for Central Oil and Supply. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and a faithful member of the Men’s Bible Class.

Among his survivors, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Martha M. (Danny) Poston of Manning and Mary M. (Walter) Miller of Florence; grandchildren, Danny Jr., Danielle and Preston Poston and Amber and Kyle Miller; great-grandchildren, Emily and J.P. Poston; and sister, Doris Hancock of Florence.

He was also predeceased by a sister, Inalou Beard.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at First Free Will Baptist Church.

Burial followed at Florence Memorial Gardens. The services were conducted by the Rev. Lee Patrick.

Cain Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
