James A. Green

James A. Green, 60, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at his home in Summerton.

Born April 6, 1947, in Sumter, he was a son of the late James H. “Dute” Green and the late Pauline Barkley Green. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Southern Methodist faith.

He is survived by a son, James V. (Jamesia) Green of Bowie, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their appreciation to caretakers, Gail Keels and Carol Peterson.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Tommy Burgess officiating.

Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
