Harold Richard Robinson
Harold Richard Robinson, 89, husband of Alvilder Singletary Robinson, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at his home in Summerton.
Born Sept. 13, 1917, in Turbeville, he was a son of the late Euel and Ida Floyd Robinson. He was a retired self-employed logger of thirty-five years, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a Mason, a member of Woodmen of the World and a member of the Summerton Southern Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Summerton; a daughter, Helen R. (Gary) Bass of Summerton; a son, Harold Michael (Edna) Robinson of Summerton; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Wayne Robinson.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, with the Rev. Tommy Burgess officiating.
Burial followed in Summerton Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Correll Robinson, Joshua Cannon, Freddie Mitchum, Steve Robinson, Justin Langley, and Ron Dobson.
